This is certainly a varied chart including Rock, Soul, House, Pop, Indie and some cracking dance tunes! As always there are some stinkers [the obvious one sitting at the top of the chart!], but not as many as other retrocharts.

What were your memories of this period? The main thing that comes to mind for me was how stressful my A-Levels were and how much I hated that song at number one!
