The best of the losers from the past eleven semi finals of Eurovision

2006 takes us to Athens and this is the penultimate year that we see the 10 from the previous year automatically qualify. The semi-final took place on Thursday 18th May 2006.

This time, 13 countries didn't make it through to the semi finals; Bulgaria, Slovenia, Andorra, Belarus, Albania, Belgium, Cyprus, Monaco, Poland, Netherlands, Portugal, Estonia, and Iceland.

We have someone who to me looked like a bearded lady, but who I am told was definitely a man, then we have Slovenia's entry who was a very cute man, although it would have looked better with a few men dancing around him (who knows, maybe that is why he didn't qualify) and then Belarus had a definite 80's vibe to their costumes, and Belgium just had too many microphones!

Even with his lack of men, I have chosen Anžej Dežan form Slovenia as my should have been.
